Burlingtons Magazine serves as the official publication for clients of Burlingtons Law Firm.

For this redesign, the client required their magazine to mirror the prestigious reputation of their firm: embodying excellence, sophistication and professionalism.

To achieve this, I structured the design around generous amounts of blank (white or coloured) space, allowing the content to breathe and command attention. Using large margins and substantial gaps between page elements ensured a clean and sophisticated aesthetic.

I used a base palette of royal colours to add prestige to each page - royal blues, deep greens and touches of gold (Burlingtons’ signature brand colour) are now woven throughout the magazine, adding a touch of luxury and aligning the magazine to the brand.

When designing the features, I prioritised large and striking imagery to capture attention and add depth to the content. The images are complemented by elegant typography and prominent drop caps.

Regular sections such as shopping and travel pages were designed with flexibility in mind so that the styling could be repeated in future issues of the magazine. I developed templates that could accommodate varying image ratios and text lengths, ensuring consistency across different issues while offering visual appeal and readability.

Overall, the magazine's opulent design resonates with its affluent audience, reflecting its focus on business, sports, and other pursuits indicative of a discerning readership.
