I developed a microsite blog to complement International Therapist magazine, enhancing audience engagement and extending its reach. Using Webflow's CMS system, I developed the website so that it's content (but not design), fully editable by the FHT as a blog.
Article pages maintain consistency with the magazine's aesthetic, emphasizing white space and readability. Natural colour and high-quality imagery complements articles, reflecting the magazine's visual identity.
The homepage features a prominent banner showcasing the latest magazine feature, followed by additional highlights. Sections include 'Industry News' and 'Regulars', along with strategically placed advertising spaces for revenue generation. Clear navigation allows easy access to sections such as articles, interviews, downloadable PDFs, research, and advertising opportunities.
Dedicated sections highlight member contributions, featuring a fixed contributor box that scrolls down as you read the page, displaying member details and social media links. Related article suggestions, powered by Webflow's CMS tags, provide readers with additional relevant content.
Community involvement is encouraged through comment sections and social sharing buttons, facilitating discussion and content sharing. Responsive design ensures seamless access across devices. Integration with the magazine involves cross-promotion of content to drive traffic, with direct links provided to access full PDFs. Email newsletter sign-up options on the footer of every page enhance member interaction.
The microsite blog extends International Therapist magazine's offerings, nurturing a sense of community among holistic therapists and enthusiasts.
